Diversity Management Definition
Diversity management refers to the strategic recognition, deployment, and integration of workforce differences such as gender, ethnicity, personality, values, age, disability, or sexual orientation (Shen et al., 2009). It enables organisations to harness employee knowledge, creativity, and skills to achieve strategic goals (Allen et al., 2004). Mor Barak (2015) stresses the distinction between diversity (representation) and inclusion (engagement and respect). Ely and Thomas (2001) argue that without inclusive leadership and cultural adaptation, increasing diversity alone can limit outcomes.
