Board Governance Value Definition
Board-level governance concerns how internal actors, external actors and the board interact to direct the corporation for value creation. Accountability extends beyond managerial opportunism on behalf of distant shareholders; value is created across the whole value chain, and boards are accountable for a broad set of tasks (Huse, 2007).
